Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema seeks films/videos from local residents who have contributed to any area of the title’s creative, production or distribution phases. All genres (children’s/young adult, animation, experimental, performance, documentary, fiction, music videos, etc.) and lengths will be considered. We will also review submissions that express the sentiments, values and unique spirit of Bernal from non-resident filmmakers. Trailers and works-in-progress are acceptable. Submissions must be appropriate for public viewing and general audience entertainment.

Submissions accepted:  March 1, 2008 – July 1, 2008

Screening dates:  Last week of August, 2008.  Dates and sites — to be announced.

Submissions must include:

1. DVD preview copy (include self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want DVD returned)
2. CD with brief synopsis; credits; total running time; short bio of filmmaker/contributor with head shot (300dpi jpg)
3. Contact information including name, address, telephone/fax and email address
4. Electronic Press kit and/or production stills (300dpi jpg)
